so i can bash the aesthetics of this stupid fucking company all i want and only touch on aspects that simply annoy me for superficial/minute reasons. like how fucking stupid/played out idolizing gg allin is. he shit on the ground and rolled around in it and beat himself/others up at his shows and raped women and shouted “fuck you”. great. amazing man, so punk. what a fucking legend. or how stupid it is celebrating drinking, the u.s.a. (the nation that produces this stupid fucking meaningless confused pseudo-nostalgic “rock n roll” bullshit), nuking people (???), “cars & girls”… i don’t need to explain my distaste for this aimless “look” people are going for by wearing some of these buttons. other than blatant lack of interest in any sort of cultural phenomena which contain any sort of substance or meaning, some of the more seriously idiotic messages propagate more than just shitty taste.  let’s start with “NO UPTIGHT HONKEYS” and “THE REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE UPTIGHT”. god fucking knows what these stupid shits even mean, but it might help to look at who is making this neo-americana crap. they hate being called out on their ignorance regarding cultural appropriation, racism, etc. so my best guess is that “uptight” is a replacement for what one might call “socially aware”. so being uptight (meaning you have acknowledged systematic privileges and many other systematic injustices in our society) is not welcome in this crowd. i guess POC, LGBTQQ and others who are oppressed are’t welcome to the privileged’s “revolution”. great, no one wants in anyways, it isn’t a revolution, its perpetuation of the same old racist ignorant thinking. “last of the white niggers”? “i wanna go back to africa”? i’m still having trouble understanding what the fuck they think they’re getting away with saying, but it’d pretty obvious that they probably don’t realize how incredibly offensive they’re being. more importantly, they don’t care. and why should they? can we really expect them to change their minds when people continue to just eat this stupid shit up? why give them your money when they continue to do shit like this?
